This conference will cut across cooperative sectors and provide an opportunity to share best practices and learn from each other. The conference will have four primary tracks including Accounting and Finance, Communication (& organizational culture), Governance, and Marketing.
We are bringing together community members, cooperatives, local business owners and policymakers to:
- Strengthen economic systems by developing cooperative business skills to support successful ventures
- Create strategic alliances and strengthen relationships between cooperatives
- Raise awareness about the importance of access to local foods and the role that all co-ops play in developing local and regional food systems
- Celebrate successful examples and learn from other cooperatives
What amazing project you working on now? How have you or your co-op achieved success? What lessons have you learned along the way? What was the greatest thing that your co-op did? The biggest mistake? What is the most practical advice you would give someone who is thinking of starting a cooperative? These are the things we want to know!
